Lesson Descriptions and Fees: 

Summer Art Camp:

(Ages 8-13) Minimum attendance 6, Maximum 12. Monday through Friday, 10am -3pm.
Intended for beginning-intermediate level learners. See “upcoming events”.
Students will benefit from standards-based art instruction in a small group setting. It is also my goal that students play, move, have fun, and make new friends during Art Camp. Students will explore basic techniques using a variety of media such as ink, colored pencil, watercolor and scratch board.

Sample daily schedule for Art Camp:

10:00 – 10:30 Visual Journal/Review of Previous Learning
10:30 – 11:30 Instruction/Practice
11:30 – 11:45 Break
11:45 – 12:45 Instruction/Practice
12:45 – 1:45 Lunch/Nature Walk/Games.
1:45– 2:30 Independent Work/Project Completion
2:30 – 3:00 Clean-up/Snack

Fee: $325 per week. Includes all materials and supplies, drink/snack. Students will bring packed lunch each day. Payment is required to reserve a spot, fully refundable up to 7 days prior.

Individual Private Instruction: (Ages 8 and up, intended for intermediate to Pre-AP level learners)

The first lesson will include an assessment of student’s interests, skill level and goals. Once these have been established, future lessons will be customized to meet student’s individual needs. Lesson themes may include (but not limited to): 

-Contour Line Drawing, Pattern, Design and Composition
-Drawing and Shading techniques using drawing media
-Color Theory
-Painting techniques using media such as Tempera, Acrylic, Watercolor
-Drawing and Painting from Nature

Fee: $125 per 90-minute session. *Includes all supplies and materials.

Private Group Events: (For example, Paint n Sip, Small Business Team Building, Birthday Celebrations, Small Group Workshops) may be arranged on an individual basis. Minimum 6 participants, Maximum 12.  Typically, 3-4 hours in duration. Fees range from $40-$60 per person, depending on project details, group size and duration. Participants bring their own food/drink.  $200 deposit required to hold a date, refundable up to 14 days prior.
